This music CD is of the "unplugged", solo genre. All songs are performed by myself, L. Michael King, on an acoustic, 12-string guitar. The CD contains 5 of my original works and 5 songs originally written and recorded by Harry Chapin, my music idol.
In honor of the late Mr. Chapin, $1.00 from the sale of each CD will be donated to World Hunger, which as any avid Harry Chapin fan knows, was co-founded by this great humanitarian.
Shipping and handling is included in the $12.99 price, however, at this time, we can only ship within the United States.
The title track, "Inner Spirit" is dedicated to people diagnosed with a terminal ilness who, through their inner spirit, refuse to give up and continue to face life with humor and gusto. It was inspired by the lives of two very close friends, Tom and Mary.
"Old Man's Prayer" is dedicated to those who suffer from old-age dementia or Alzheimer's Disease, and the family and friends who love them. This song is in memory of a very special lady, my wife's mother, who left us at the age of 93.

"Memories", is rated "R", due to language, and is a humorous insight into my own extremely poor eyesight which has rendered me officially "disabled", while "My Precious Lady" is a testimonial to my wonderful wife, without whose love and support, this CD would never have come to be.
A special thanks must also go to my loving son, Michael, who performed all of the recording, sound mixing and tolerated all of my frustrations throughout this venture.
